Why Membership?

      A good question. The reason that we require our guests to register in order to access the entire Film Scribe site is mostly for tracking. Since, at this time, all membership in this site is free, we count on advertisers to provide the funding to keep this site alive. Without them, Film Scribe would not exist.

      Most companies request statistical informtion before advertising with us. We provide anonymous statistics to them so they can monitor who their banner ads are reaching. Zip codes are the primary source for tracking this information and at no time will an advertiser receive personal information on any of our members.

      Another benefit of requiring our guests to join as members is to benefit them directly. With the information we collect Film Scribe provides services such as monthly newsletters, email alerts for events coming soon, member to member communication, posting access and several other benefits.
